NAU Snow Trip!

We took a quick trip up to Flagstaff to play in the snow & check out around NAU, where Madison will be going this Fall. It was just Ryan, Faith, Adam & me because Maddie & Sara had band & Ashley had a birthday party. We left late Wednesday night & got back Thursday afternoon.

We also want to take this time to wish a happy New Year to all our friends & family. Thanks for your love & friendship. We wish you the best in 2010!!!

This is a little sledding area that was right off the main road. It was just perfect for the kids.

I love this picture!

Amazingly huge icicles were all over the place.

If you still need to get in the holiday spirit, here is a 4 min excerpt from the Christmas number in Sara's band concert last night. She is first chair flute in Poston's Cadet Band. Sorry for the sideways video :P Also, what would a concert be with out Adam & my telling him shhhh, which is heard several times.

American Idol meets The Mormon Tabernacle Choir

Adam & Faith had a wonderful & entertaining school Christmas program last night. I only recorded their parts but it was all great!

In this video Adam's 1st grade class sings 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town', 'Personent Hodie' & 'Still Still Still'. It's hard to miss Adam, he is the cutest one in the red sweater vest & tie. :D

This video is Faith's 4th grade class singing 'A Holly Jolly Christmas', 'Little Drummer Boy', & 'Go Tell it on the Mountain'. Faith is the most beautiful one in the glittery Christmas red dress on the front row.:D

The Great Traffic Reflector Mystery

Why does one of my children who shall remain nameless have this in their closet??? Ryan & I awoke this morning & found it there. Thank goodness we never did anything like this when we were younger. I am waiting for the police to come knocking on our door any minute....

Our Australian Student Coming Soon!

Yesterday we got the info on the Australian student who will be staying with us for a week in January. We are all so excited! Her name is Ella & she lives near Sydney. She loves to work out, likes kids & works at Subway (we will definitely be introducing her to KrazySub lol). Can't wait to meet you Ella!

Adam & Faith's Santa Visit

After Adam's football game on Saturday we took Adam & Faith to see Santa at the CAF Aircraft Museum at Falcon Field. It was also great because the CAF was having a toy drive & if you brought a toy to donate you got free admission to the aircraft museum. So after the fun of seeing Santa we went in & saw all the great old fighter airplanes.

Here's a real short but cute video. Adam can be heard saying he wants Sponge Bob Lego's & Faith wants a doll:

Adam's Last Football Game

Saturday was Adam's football team, the Jack Rabbits, first playoff game. The team did great & it was one of their best games. Adam scored 1 touchdowns & an extra 2 pointer! Unfortunately they lost 14 to 22 so they are out of the playoffs.

Maddie, Sara, Faith & Lacey Davis came to watch & cheer on Adam & the team.

Adam really enjoyed football (except for the losing) & is looking forward to next year.

Instead of a trophy each player got a commemorative dog tag which is what the chains are around the boys necks.

Here is video we took from the game. Aren't these kids so cute:
